To accommodate the high requirements at modern tools with regard to the strain by the machining of high strength sheets with an, at the same time, increasing of the running life and maintainability, a new sintered metal material has been developed.
The new generation of sliding elements is steel reinforced, iron based, porous sintered metal. It features itself by its high wear resistance at low, till medium speeds. The sintered metal is placed on a steel base body, which gives the sliding element a higher solidity.

 | | Alternatives create new freedoms in the construction
Different types of block cylinders Z5350-Q and Z5350-L were included, giving new freedoms to the constructing engineer on the screen and giving new freedoms to the user in practice concerning the planning and production of tools compared with for example the short-stroke cylinders.
The screwing of the block cylinders outside the tool allows a simpler movement of the stripper plates or the cam elements in the tool can simpler be moved backwards, whereby the control sequence can be modified.
The constructing engineer can order the block cylinders in different types. For example the type Z5350-Q with integrated crossholes. The type Z5350-L has longitudinal bores in the cylinder. The hydraulic system can develop a pressure of up to 450 bars.
The pistons have diameters in the range of 16 till 100 mm and can be obtained in stroke lengths between 10 till 1.500 mm ?according to the piston diameter. |

Active and passive cooling is now possible concerning the unscrewing units

Thread pitches cooled: Unscrewing units Z5410, Z5420 and Z5430 can now also bereceived with core cooling Z5450.
Moreover the core cooling Z5450 can be ordered separay.
With immediate effect the newly developed unscrewing units are optionally provided with an active core cooling. The integrated cooling element cares for a cooling of the thread cores, shafts or similar contours. The integrated cooling process reduces the cycle times again considerably compared to the un-cooled standard version, which contributes to the reduction of the piece costs in the production. It will not only please the constructing engineers that these core cooling which is equipped with ceramic seals can also be used and ordered as a separate component with the STRACK NORMA article Z5450.
Alternatively the cooling of the thread cores is also possible with a passive cooling. This procedure is used at simple and double unscrewing units, where for example the product has to be cooled slowly to reach the required structural conditions in the plastic material. The four cooled types enlarge the operating spectrum for the constructing engineers and tool manufacturers once again considerably. |

 | | The automatic transport lock R1025 / R1026 avoids the unintentional opening at the mounting- and dismounting of the injection mould as well as at the transport. This safety system allows smaller setting-up- respectively changeover times and guarantees highest security by an automatic locking of both mould halves.
At the mounting of the mould in the injection moulding machine, the opening of the mould will only be possible if the mounting plate on the moving mould half is closely laying at the machine table.
At the dismounting from the moulding machine, the mould halves are automatically locked, as soon as the mounting plate on the moving mould half will be loosed from the machine table.The simple and robust design make the transport lock absoluy reliable in operation. |
