这几款RS-232/422/485 PCI 通讯卡符合用于通用连通性和紧凑型PCI 板卡的PCI2.2总线规格。PCI-1604UP 提供2个独立的RS-232 端口，PCI-1602UP 则提供2个独立的RS-422/485端口。PCI-1601UP 和PCI-1610AUP 提供4个RS-232 端口。它们都提供921.6kbps的传输速率，能够显著增强系统得性能。此外为了进一步提高系统得可靠性，它们还采用了浪涌保护技术，能够在电压突然升高zui高到2500VDC的情况下对您的系统起到有效的保护作用。它们使用了带有128字节FIFO的高性能16PCI952 和16PCI954 UART芯片，能够大大减轻CPU的负载，非常适合在多任务环境中使用。此外这些板卡都符合紧凑型PCI MD1 标准。紧凑型PCI与标准PCI具有相同的信号协议、电子定义，但其尺寸比标准PCI板卡更小。因此这些板卡非常适合在嵌入式系统和尺寸狭小的环境中使用。此外，它们还带有一个通用PCI接口，能够兼容的3.3V 信号系统和传统的5号系统。除此之外，研华还提供用于通讯卡的工具软件和ICOM Tools，用于帮助用户通过分析端口状态测试PCI卡的性能。ICOM Tools 可以通过易于使用的菜单命令和工具条按钮进行控制。它相当于一个PC 数据作用域，可以让您设置触发条件、获取通讯数据及监视信号状态。ICOM Tools 适用于研华所有的ICOM 通讯卡。
